Little Miss Emma and her freckles are my new favorites. This little girl was quite active and I used up nearly every one of my (usually) fool-proof toddler tricks to get through our shoot. And with amazing success if I do say so myself. These are two of my favorites:

A few weeks ago I had the incredible pleasure of meeting a new client and getting to know this darling little family. Natalie is a darling, lively sweetie pie whose little smiley nose crinkles were beyond charming, and it’s not hard to see where she gets her good looks.

We had a fun shoot in Balboa Park and, despite a few drizzles and overcast skies, got some really amazing shots:

This sweet family of five always delivers a one-two punch to my ticker every time we get together. I’ve been photographing them for three years or so now and, like so many of my client families, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching these kids grow, getting to know their year-older selves all over again. Below are some of my favorites from our most recent session. That big one in the middle is my new favorite family photo of all time forever and ever.

I had so much fun with this family. This was our second session together and I swear this kid’s cuteness factor tripled in the year since I first met him. He was such a trooper and LOVED the lollipop treat. Well, they all did. The best part about this session? I got to say “stinky butt crack” about a hundred times and each time it made him laugh. That’s my kind of kid.

Sweet, teeny, tiny Andie. This darling new family of three was such a delight to work with. I love seeing new parents with their new babies and how totally smitten they are. I even got to meet both doting grandmas. How cool is that!

Congrats on Andie, Michelle and Dave! She’s 100% perfect.

Welcome to the new home of Tina Cockburn Photography. We’re still working out a few kinks and populating some of the links above, but this is where you can find me and my photography work from here on out. So pardon the dust as we get settled into our new home.
